IRC Afghanistan’s Education Program aims to strengthen community-based education (CBE), particularly primary education, and strengthen the CBE sub-sector, particularly its link with the Ministry of Education. The Community Based Education Program, the Partnership for Community Based Education in Afghanistan (PACE) implements a five year program to expand quality learning and life opportunities for marginalized communities and their children in Afghanistan. Consistent with the Partnership’s prior and ongoing work in CBE, the project gives priority to expanding access to quality primary education for girls in areas where girls’ enrollment in government schools is limited and/or where government schools are not available. |
