IRC Afghanistan’s Education Program aims to strengthen community-based education (CBE), particularly primary education, and strengthen the CBE sub-sector, particularly its link with the Ministry of Education. The Community Based Education Program, the Partnership for Community Based Education in Afghanistan (PACE) implements a five year program to expand quality learning and life opportunities for marginalized communities and their children in Afghanistan. Consistent with the Partnership’s prior and ongoing work in CBE, the project gives priority to expanding access to quality primary education for girls in areas where girls’ enrollment in government schools is limited and/or where government schools are not available.

Job Description
•Orientation and training of project staff on the education M&E framework, including objectives and indicators; on their responsibilities for the complete, accurate and timely collection and reporting of data and information.
•Production, distribution of forms for the collection of information at each learning site, through provincial, district and local staff.
•Monthly collection, data entry, and analysis of data and information from the field, assuring completeness and accuracy.
•Monthly reporting on project inputs, activities and outputs to the education coordinator and the education core team.
•Feedback of information from monthly reports to provincial and district staff, including guidance from core project staff on priority areas for attention/action.
•Maintenance of filing system for monthly reports and analyses in hard copy, and on hard disk and backups.
•Track progress towards project objectives over time (monthly), preparing tabular and graphic presentations. These progress analyses will be prepared for quarterly, six monthly and annual project reports.
•Actively participate and contribute to core Project team meetings and training
