Job Description
1. Collects data and other information on development and/or subject-matter activities of the country or area. Arranges meetings, both internal and external, some involving high-ranking officials, and takes minutes and/or notes at meetings.

2. Maintains, logs, files and updates records in prescribed format for subsequent use. Prepares informal translations and may act as interpreter.


3. Processes and examines the information and data in accordance with instructions received, making necessary abstracts and computations.

4. Maintains and keeps current registers and control plans on the status of projects at the formulation, implementation and operational stages.

5. Prepares background material, working papers and tables for briefing and review sessions.

6. Summarizes information reflecting current obligations and future programme and/or budgetary implications.

7. May be required to carry out specific operational/control tasks for programme/project implementation.

8. Performs other duties, as required.

  Desired Candidate's Profiles
  Profile
1.Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in a field related to the work of the organization.

2.Four years of office experience, including record-keeping and processing of information.

3.Fluency in English, Dari and Pashtun (both written and oral communication) is required.


4.Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications.

5.Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working
